🌟 Welcome to Ready for Kinder! 🌟

Dear Parents,

This week’s focus is on one of the most important kindergarten readiness skills—letter recognition. Recognizing letters (both uppercase and lowercase) is the foundation for learning sounds, reading, and writing. The good news? Kids learn best when it’s playful and part of everyday life.

📚 Kindergarten Quick Tip (Letter Recognition):

Point out letters in your child’s environment—on signs, cereal boxes, mail, or clothing labels. Connecting letters to real life makes them more meaningful and memorable.

🖐️ Try This at Home:

🔤 Alphabet Match Hunt — Write 5–6 letters on sticky notes (uppercase). Then give your child a set of magnetic letters (lowercase). Have them “hunt” around the room to match the magnetic letter to the sticky note. Quick setup, big learning impact!

💬 Encouraging Reminder:

Children learn at their own pace. Celebrate effort and progress—whether they recognize one letter or ten—because each success builds confidence.

Have a great week of ABC fun,
